Well I am back from my holiday and you were right Rose it is a beautiful part of England. It was great but as we all know when you enjoy yourself you have to pay so I'm feeling terrible, sore all over and no energy. Any way I have talked and gathered informatoin from my dear friend and now know that I don't need to make up my mind about the future, I just need to keep ALL my options open. So I will try to return to my job if my employers think I might be capable but very slowly with a phased return to work with retraining because I have not been doing it for more than a year. I will try but if I can't do it then I will ask for re deployment. At the same time I will look for alternative employment with the help of Pathways to Work scheme. I had an appointment today with my personal adviser and told her this and we have made plans to help me with this, She thinks that it's a good idea. On my next visit we will develop my CV and the following week we will have a three way meeting along with an OT to look at what type of employment may be suitable, it is good to be looking forward. I asked about training and the funding today Mari and the funding for training is not available. They have limited resources and are arranging day courses at the job centre such as today there was a course to aquire a basic food hygine certificate and they will run one as an introduction to administration. It seems a good idea to me. It may be good to have a taster, to look at some ideas without committing. I asked today if there are a limited number of appointments allowed through the Pathways to work and found that there isn't so I can make use of this until I'm sorted out so there's no panic. So I'm back on track. Glenys.
